Eating out at Silla Korean Restaurant

Assalamualaikum lovelies~

So today im going to tell you guys about my very first experience eating out at a Korean Restaurant, Silla. This Korean restaurant is located at a 'secluded' area in Kilanas (at least i think so,cuz this place is not that well known). But, you must be wondering, if the place is 'secluded' then it must be hard to find the location right?well....the typical newbie driver like me would always check Waze first of course!! Haha 😜 and, surprisingly this restaurant's location is available!! Lucky~ Although,we did do one detour (cuz we missed the entrance junction )haha, but we found an oil station along the way, which we need at that time (2 bar left hehe). 'Mistakes are not always bad'. 😜

As we arrived, we are greeted by the employee with...i dont remember what they  said cuz i was busy taking pics haha, but i think they said, welcome in Korean language which is kinda typical for both Japanese and Korean restaurant i think, (cuz when i went to Misato Japanese restaurant last time, we were greeted in Japanese also). The interior design was a 7/10 for me, hehe

As we enter the restaurant, there's a waterfall on our left!!

And this on the right, but...i dont know what its called...

The entrance was awesome, a bridge!! And as you can see from the pics above, both the left and right side of the bridge have awesome stuff too! Which was why i was excited to take pictures haha

The restaurant also seems to have themes, 2 of them

Relax theme (i think hehe)
And... i dont know what this theme should be hehe

We sat at the second theme area, since it was kinda 'inside'.... I dont really know how to explain haha but yeah, the second theme looks and feel much more peaceful for me, and since there was no one when we came, the whole restaurant felt like ours!! Jyeaahahaha

As we sat, the waiter came right away with the orders, and i ordered these...

Bibimbap
And these came with the bibimbap, and i forgot to take pic of the seaweed soup haha
And a milk tea
And my brother ordered this Kimchee ramyun and also teh tarik
Tadaaaaa!!!

Basically, all of the food was awesome hehe, i did some videos  of me eating but, i havent edited it yet so, if you guys are interested to see a gluton eating a Korean food do check my Youtube account, Bruneian Lady

And that is all for my post for today! Love you lots!

Wassalam, xoxo

Kimchi Pancake!! as per requested~★★★★★

Assalamualaikum everyone ~ today's post is a bit different from my other post, or is it?.....ah.......I did a pearl milk tea recipe last time.....haha
So today im also going to share you another recipe of my favourite menu or snack! KIMCHI PANCAKE or the Korean called it, KIMCHI JEON~
Recently,  I was kinda hyped with food huhuhu thus making me gained weight....no!!! Everyday, I tried my best to do something reproductive, so I cook!! or bake!! and then I eat them haha, so~ I kinda brag about this to my friend hehe and she wants me to share the Kimchi Pancake recipe that I got from a Youtube chef named, Maangchi.
http://d2o9zv0j9qze78.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/Cul-Maangchi-AM15-Impact.jpg
http://www.maangchi.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Maangchis-Real-Korean-Cooking.jpg
She also  had a recipe book published, so do check them out
Most of her recipes are really easy to follow, esp, for a beginner like me hehe I used most of her recipe when I decided to make Korean cuisine and they all came out delicious! I also got my Kimchi recipe from her! Do check her out on Youtube!
So~ lets get to the recipe shall we? I did some improvisations to this recipe so, its up to you to use this improvised recipe or not hehe, so you will need....
1 cup of Kimchi (preferable the properly fermented ones, not the newly made one)
1/2 cup of flour
3 tbsp of Kimchi juice
1 tiny big onion hehe I love big onion so, the original recipe uses 2tbsp of big onion
1/2 tbsp of secukup rasa (I dont like to use salt when cooking hehe but, the original recipe uses 1/2 tsp sugar and salt)
1/4 cup water
So, since this recipe is soooo simple, you just have to mix all of the ingredients above and fry them on a non stick pan! And since I dont like frying~~~ I used either microwave or oven to cook this baby hehehe although, frying the pancake will definitely have different textures than the microwaved and the ovened(?) pancake, the fried ones taste much more like pancakes and the other two methods makes the pancake to be sticky and mushy~but, I still like it♥ hehe
This is the fried kimchi pancake

This is the microwaved kimchi pancake
I also did the ovened(?) kimchi pancake just recently but, i forgot to took a picture of it hehehe

So~I hope you guys like this type of blogpost, and if you do, do follow my blog and dont be shy to leave a comment on this post if you want me to post more easy recipes~
Assalamualaikum bye~♥♥

Review on Victor Frankenstein!!

Assalamualaikum lovelies~ Victor Frankenstein is one of the newest movies in December, and i had just watched it yesterday! Although, we actually planned to watch another movie but because we forgot to buy the ticket early beforehand, we just had to settle with the movie that shows the earliest, which is Victor Frankenstein! So now, lets start with the review shall we?

As we enter the Cineplex, i saw a small tv? (i dont know what its called but, its kinda like a tv poster that changes) and i saw the Victor Frankenstein poster.
http://gruesomemagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/2015/11/victor_frankenstein_poster.jpg
And in one glance, i saw Daniel Radcliffe, and immediately thought that he will starred as Victor Frankenstein haha (i dont know why~)

Victor Frankenstein is starred by James McAvoy (he is an awesome actor-handsome~), and Daniel Radcliffe starred as Igor Strausman. The first thing that i want to point out was, as i watched the movie, i became confused, the main guy which is Victor Frankenstein does not have that much scene if compared to Igor, and it seemed that this movie is about Igor, which is for is quite a shame- i really want more of James McAvoy scene!!. Although, the movie was awesome, it felt kind of rushed to me, and i feel like there were many scene that should be get rid of ;- esp the Igor scene- i wished, and to add more scene on Victor making the monster Frankenstein. And, i really do hope that there will be a Victor Frankenstein 2 because i really want to see more Victor Frankenstein than Igor!!!

But, all in all it was a great movie, despite that i hated movies that involves with body organs, blood, and death, i rate the movie with 7/10. I would've give 8 or 9/10 if not because of too much Igor scene. And one more thing, that i find kinda hilarious, is the relationship between Igor and Victor- i dont know if its just me, but, it feels like their friendship scene and the "'healing'? Igor" scene is very very weird haha, and also disgusting- the 'healing' part.

And so, that is the end of my review, please do watch this amazing movie because i really would like to know your reviews on this movie hehehe

Assalamualaikum and enjoy your day~~~

Assalamualaikum lovelies, this my another entry about Japanese food!! Weeeee~~ and other things as well hehe

Yesterday, to fulfill my nazar, i decided to bring my family out for a dinner at Misato Japanese Restaurant, we ordered a lots of  food and of course we took a lots of pictures of the food! Toink! We totally forgot to take family picture there T.T, it was a very pleasant dinner although i would prefer to dine at the first floor of the restaurant~ i really regret not doing reservation beforehand, since the payday was just recent.

These was what i ordered for appetizers, Cheese maki, $1.80 and o-cha for my drink, 0.50 only!!

And this was my main course hehe, Okonomiyaki, $9, my very first! I would prefer more okonomiyaki sauce and mayonnaise though
And these were the orders made by my family members~

And this were my father's order, Tempura Udon, $8

This was our dessert, Mixed ice cream, $6. It consist of Red bean ice cream(pink), Black sesame ice cream(black white) and matcha ice cream(green). Its a MUST try~ delish *thumbs up

This was my father's drink, Vanilla orange, $4.50. It tastes like Julie's lemon biscuit, delish

This was my mum's order, Yaki Udon, $9, my mum fall at love at first bit with this dish haha, she said it tastes like Indian fried noodle but with different noodle

This was my little sister's order, Gyu Niku Tama Don, $10, this dish was provided with miso soup ( i think) but she did not took a pic of it, i took a taste o this dish but, there are too many big onion slice T.T, and the miso soup was not really my favourite either, the flavour was too strong~ ><

And this was my another little sister's orders, she order Kaisen Chahan, $3, and her drink was, Fruit Song, $4.50
After eating, we decided to go to SKH to buy some chicken, and there were a lots of people!! Thus, we had to go to the first floor first, and there i found this!!!
Rilakkuma pillow!! <3 At last!! hehe, it was on half price tag, $11. cent something~ i forgot hehe, i sleep with it the day i bought it haha, love the fabric
And my little brother bought a shirt. Afterwards, we shop downstairs, i bought these~ i'll show only the Japanese-like product okay~ heehe, i bought other snacks too though (LOVE snacks) <3
Green tea flavoured Kit Kat, 0.70 cents only, when this flavour first came out, it cost $1.30, somehow the price dropped drastically now~

And this is Ichitan honey lemon flavoured green tea, $0.80, delish~
And right afterwards, we went to Giant, i only bought 1 item there so~ not interesting hehe, but i want to tell those who like to buy drug store goods, there are sales going on right now! I almost bought masks yesterday, there are sold for $5 for 3 masks!! but, my conscience says don't since i have masks also at home.... >.< fufufu, so do go there while stocks last!

I think that was all i can write for this post~ Last but not least i want to share some Al Quran verse to you lovelies, since i wrote this post on Friday~

http://i2.wp.com/saypeople.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Kun-Fayakun.jpg?resize=474%2C374
The meaning of this verse is"It it's meant to be, it will be"
I chose the verse because, if you recall from the beginning of my post, i did say that i did a nazar and fulfills it yesterday, and it was due to something that i hoped for many years and at last it had been fulfilled by our Creator, Alhamdulillah~ so, i'm just saying, that this verse proves that, no matter what you wished and hoped for, if it was not your Rizq and if it was not the right time yet, you will not get it, and vice versa, so~ always put your faith in Allah, put Allah as your mandatory and let the rest be secondary~ And remember that, Allah always looks after you~ <3

That is all, i hope you enjoyed your Friday love! <3

My love for Japanese cuisine♥♥

Wahh...its been sometime since I updated my blog~been so busy with life lately hehe and of course still figuring out my novel continuation:-which, at the moment is at halt ==" *sigh~ well......that aside, referring to the title of the post, hehe 'my love for Japanese cuisine at the moment is kinda eating me at the moment T.T

It has been almost 3 months since I finished my school,  somewhere around the end of June? Yeahh....and since I have nothing to do at home, I decided to make my own food, well....im a girl afterall, I need to be good at cooking right? So basically,  there are advantage and disadvantage when it comes to long holidays, yeahhh.....I gain weight!!! T.T just in 3 months, I gained 2 kg!!?? Wait....maybe more uhuhu....

But, the weird thing is, I do exercises also, and yeahh I do admit that I eat a lot nowadays,  but the food that I eat is mostly healthy! And so, I blame metabolism!!! Why dont I have high metabolism like some women do? Specifically, a Japanese youtuber named, Yuka Kinoshita,  she ate tons of food and she only gained around 2-3 kgs over 3 years??? And I gained 2-?? Kgs in 3months.....Does that even make sense? Grrr....

Nonetheless,  I also feel grateful that im able to eat decent food, and able to make food that I want, thanks to Allah :) im just, dissatisfied with myself, why do I tried to eat like that Japanese girl? Obviously,  she is an expert, unlike me, serve me right ==" And so, I decided to diet today but....again im defeated to lust for sweet drinks T.T gahhhh I need to stop this!!!

Other than Japanese food, im also crazy with Korean food! Gahh♥♥

Assalamualaikum~

This is just a random post that I have decided to write after a very excellent idea popped into my head not long after I a serious thinking about how my future will be, If kept on living this way?~*wow thats deep~>< Anyhow, I had just realised that im always good in doing everything when I put my mind into it, but, always, I always,  feel tired and not comitted in doing the 'thing' afterwards,  which is not a good thing, plus, im the 'going with the flow' type of person, when my friends crochet, I do crocheting also, when people draws manga, I tried doing mine myself also, and in the end, I did not continue doing them at all now. Thus, I decided to think, think and think....what is the 'thing' that im very good at, which I always do, and am not tired of doing everyday? And my answer is writing a story, yeahhh...I have always imagined and create a story plot in my mind and just naturally make stories out of the plot and scene. I have been doing this since im in primary school, yeahhh.... trust me, it is weird but, let me tell you, I am quite good at it, and im going to show you my skill, hehehe, so please help me, do judge me, comment on the story if I had some grammar mistakes or anything, the story plot, scene..., I really do appreciate it. :)

Although,  I am very sorry to say, I will not post any stories yet, but soon In Sha Allah...the 1st chapter,  okay? :)
And that is all for this post bye bye~~

I made my own tapioca pearls! !!!

Assalamualaikum everyone~I apologize for the super late post huhuhuhu, I know that I did promise to post the recipe for tapioca pearls in the last post but somehow at that time, I was really busy with assignments and exams, and in the end, I wasnt able to share with you the recipe....buhuuuu. But, no worries, today im going to give you the recipe~~ yayy!!
Tapioca pearls recipe~~
1 cup of tapioca flour
2tbs of brown sugar
1/3 cup of water
And food coloring, I used purple (you can use any color to your preference)
Only 4 ingredients,  easy right? You just have to mix them all and if you think the doh is too runny just add more flour and if the doh is too dry then just add more water. And just roll them into small little balls~make sure they are small okey, because, the first time I made this, I was too excited and rolled them too big and in the end the tapioca pearls arent cooked properly and they can't fit into the big straw haha
For these homemade tapioca pearls, they took a longer time to cook unlike the store bought ones, I did some test myself, and I took 30 min to cook them, which is quite a long time right? But no worries, the result is satisfying hehehe
And then its time to make the milk tea itself~ honestly, I am not sure how to make milk tea so, I just make 'teh tarik' instead, because I think the taste is quite similar, but milk tea is more milky, but, I do check the internet for the recipe, and for you guys sake I tried them during my second tapioca pearls batch~I did change the recipe a bit so, no worries, there will be no copyright issue hehe
Taiwan Milk Tea Recipe
Ingredients: (i used 2ml jug size)
3 tbsp Teh tarik powder (use 1/1/2 cup of water to extract the tea)
1/2 + 1/3 cups Coffeemate, or any non-dairy creamer
8 tablespoons brown sugar or caster sugar also can do
200 ml hot water to dissolve the creamer and sugar
Instructions:Steep the teh tarik powder for ~5 minutes. And add the creamer mixture. Stir until they are mixed well. And just add cold water to fill my 2 ml jug/in your case, just add accordingly.

Easy as that right?! But, I tell you, honestly, the process is very tiring so, no wonder the pearl milk tea sold is very expensive, I took more than 3 hours just to roll the tapioca pearls and then to cook them requires another 30minutes and then make the milk tea *sigh~ I can only make them when im in a good shape and in a 'rajin' mood or else, I will end up finishing my work halfway, just like , my second tapioca pearls batch heheheh
But, again.....if you are a pearl milk tea maniac like I do, you will think twice before buying them at the store, I think....haha but somehow, just yesterday i bought 2 different brands of pearl milk tea haha (p.s, just to differentiate the taste)
